Rules for submission and preparation of abstracts
All registered participants who would like to present their work are invited to submit an abstract according to the following deadlines:
- Contributions to be considered as oral communications: April 17th, 2025 at 23:59 h.
- Contributions to be considered as poster communications: April 30th, 2025 at 23:59 h.
Abstract must be written in English and follow the word template provided, which can be downloaded here, and sent by e-mail to abstracts@ismec2025.com. You will receive an automatic reply confirming the reception of your mail. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Organizing Committee for their acceptance. Note the number of slots for oral presentations is limited. Should the number submitted exceed the number of slots available, the International Scientific Committee will select which of them will be presented orally.

Each participant can submit only one abstract. Completion of the registration and the full payment of the registration fee is required for acceptance
We encourage authors to send both the PDF and the editable Word file (in doc or docx formats). Files should be named according to “Surname_name_abstract.extension“, where the family name and name corresponds to the presenting author.
Rules for the presentation of lectures and oral communications
Plenary lectures: 50 min +10 min discussion
Keynote lectures: 25 min + 5 min discussion
Oral communications: 12 min + 3 min discussion
We urge all lecturers to keep their presentations strictly within the scheduled time.
PowerPoint or PDF files of the presented lectures and oral communications must be delivered to the organizing committee in advance, at the latest before the first conference of their time slot. Should you need any specific requirement, please contact the conference secretariat in advance (ismec2025@ismec2025.com).
Rules for the presentation of poster contributions
The maximum size should be A0 (841 × 1189 mm or 33.11 × 46.81 inches), in portrait orientation.
We encourage all authors to put a picture of themselves on the top corner of the poster. The rapid identification of the author will favor scientific discussions.
